The demo-version is fully functional, except that it can't save/load settings. It writes the word DEMO, as you can see in this image, at regular intervals on the image.

Host-programs
Windows: Adobe Photoshop and plugin compatibles like Paint Shop Pro, Fireworks, GIMP, etc... See Host applications for a list of applications. If unsure, download the demopack and try.
Mac: only guaranteed to work with Photoshop.

Image modes: The Pro versions support both 8 and 16 bits pr channel. A regular RGB image with 16 bits/channel is also called a 48 bit image.

Userguides: The tutorials on this website are the userguides. Pdf versions (Adobe Acrobat) of the pages can be downloaded separately or studied online here. Use the links to the right to download pdf versions.

Installation

 

Since the windows version Power Retouche plug-ins can be used with many applications apart from Photoshop, the setup application can not set the install path. So you should enter this when required.

The host application - fx Photoshop - will have a special folder for plug-ins.

If you already had Photoshop (or any other host) running before you installed the PowerRetouches, you will have to relaunch it.

If you install anywhere else, just move the Power Retouche folder or the Power Retouche filter into the host's plug-ins folder.

The Power Retouche filters will appear in the host-applications filter menu grouped together under the name Power Retouche
